Introduction to the Structure and Application of Preformed Suspension Clamps

From the cast iron clamps in the 19th century to the ship-shaped clamps in the 20th century, the evolution of power fittings stagnated for half a century. It was not until the emergence of preformed suspension clamps that the original way of hanging wires truly entered a new era.

The use of suspension clamps can well protect the optical cable, assist in vibration reduction, and extend the service life of the line. The whole set of suspension clamps consists of: inner preformed armor rods, outer preformed armor rods, housing and rubber pads, U-shaped strap, aluminum casting, bolts, nuts, closed pins and other matching connection hardware. Different types of optical cables have different requirements for vertical clamps. Optical cables can be divided into OPGW optical cables, ADSS optical cables, OPPC optical cables and ordinary overhead optical cables.
