The working state of the base station antenna that sends and receives signals directly determines the communication quality. Long-term corona can cause oxidation of the electrode surface, aging of the insulating material, and even cause short-circuit failure, seriously shortening the life of the equipment. Corona ring coil is installed near the high-voltage electrode of the radio frequency module and uses the charge dispersion effect of the ring structure to control the electric field intensity around the electrode below the air breakdown threshold.


The antenna feed system can connect the antenna to the computer room equipment, including feeders, connectors, lightning arrester and other components. The DC power supply system of the base station can provide stable power supply for the core equipment. When the connection terminals of the rectifier module and battery pack in the system are working at high currents, although the voltage is not high, the oxide layer or tiny burrs on the surface of the terminal can cause local electric field distortion and produce weak corona. Although the energy of this corona is small, it will produce continuous electrochemical corrosion, causing the terminal contact resistance to increase, causing heat and even fire hazards. Corona ring coil is usually installed in the busbar of the battery pack, the output terminal of the rectifier, etc. in the power supply system. Corona ring coil can eliminate the charge concentration point on the surface of the terminal through the conductive characteristics of the metal ring, and at the same time cooperate with the insulating coating to form a double protection.
